Group Swim Lessons

Structured Swim Classes for Every Stage

Our group swim lessons are designed to support swimmers at every age and ability—from parent-and-child water introduction to advanced youth technique and adult skill development. Classes focus on water safety, confidence, and progressive skill-building in a supportive, instructor-led environment. Offerings and levels vary by session based on instructor availability.

  • Parent & Child | 6 months–2 years

    Splashing Tadpoles

    Bonding-focused water comfort through songs, games, and gentle movement.
  • Preschool | ages 3–5

    Minnows

    Skill-building through fun instruction: floating, kicking, paddling, bubbles, and pool safety.
  • ages 6–14 | three levels

    Youth Swim

    Guppies: beginner-to-swimmer progression with structured instruction.

    Dolphins: stroke introduction, deep-water comfort, treading, breath control.

    Sharks: technique-focused advancement: breathing control (including side breathing), surface dives, lane direction changes.
  • ages 15+

    Adult Swim

    Beginner through advanced stroke work with a focus on water safety and confidence.

Bio:

Laura is the Swim Coordinator at CCSF and oversees all aquatic programs, from early childhood lessons to adult swim. She is dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where swimmers of all ages can build confidence and skills in the water. Laura works closely with instructors to maintain high standards and positive experiences across every class.
